Sending Something Sweet Your Way

A card I made from the Penny Black Clear set Every Which Way. The hedgies in the set actually hold little hearts but I don't have many occasions to use them so I took the cup cake that is included in the set and stamped and mounted the images over the hearts. I used liquid applique for the frosting with the tiniest bit of glitter thrown on too. The PP is basic Grey but as it was a scrap I don't know which line all card stock is Bazzil.
Now I have the hugest craving for cupcakes LOL, good thing there are a couple B-Days coming soon. Thanks for stopping by!

Friday Sketchers meets Penny Black Saturday#41

I made this card using the Friday Sketchers#44 sketch and the Penny Black Saturday #41 challenge which was doodling. I loved the sketch immediately and new I had to use it, but the Penny Black challenge was a real struggle so I decided to combine them. The only doodling I could come up with was the squiggly lines around the edges. I thought the happy Birthday looked a little plain so I added brown glitter to it. I'm really quite happy with how both challenges worked out together. Thanks for stopping by-Tania

Used the Colour Create Challenge from last Sunday which was the colour combo of red and green and the bonus theme of things with wings. I really chose to do this as a way of stepping out of my colour comfort zone as I really don't like to work work with red and green in combination, even my Christmas themed cards are usually not red and green. I wish the glitter showed better in the picture as it really adds some more dimension to the card.

Card Recipe:

-SU Old olive Cardstock

-SU Old Olive & Real Red ink

-SU Stamps

-Glitter

MOJO78 card

Found another challenge, its sketch #78 at MOJO Monday, the other day and thought that I would give it a try. The paper is the same one from BoBunny that I used the other day. The image is a Penny Black that I've had for a while but had'nt used before. I stamped the image and water coloured it and then stamped the image again and used the flowers and the lady bug as pop ups on the first image. I then used paper glaze to at seed beads to the centers of the flowers and just a tiny bit of glitter to make them shine. Sorry it doesn't really show that well in the picture. Thanks for looking, have a great day! -Tania

Bo Bunny Paper card/ Penny Black Sketch

Created this card with some new Bo Bunny paper and the Penny Black Saturday Challenge sketch from this morning. I also had to try the flower that Claudia posted a tutorial for on her Blog. I switched out one of the flowers in the sketch for the sentiment which is stamped on a Stampin Up punched out shape.Sorry for the blurry spots, its cloudy and I couldn't get a good pic so I used the scanner and it doesn't like lumpy embellishments.

Thanks for looking, have a great weekend- Tania

Springy B-Day Card

I made this card for a very special friend of mine for her Birthday today. The flowered background paper is the new porcelain line from basic grey. I love how just looking at it makes spring seem just a little bit closer. Maybe this snow will go away.

Only 4 more sleeps till the crazy cropper retreat yeh! I guess I should start packing!

Thanks for looking- Tania
