April in my family is a very popular Birthday month so you should expect to see quite a few B-Day cards over the next while. This is a card for my DD who is having a birthday very soon. She love's pink, glitter, and bling so I made sure to include lots. The paper is CTMH inks are from SU I used Basic Black and Chocolate Chip. The image is Penny Black. One day I'm going to have to start making cards that aren't PB, but for right now I'm having way to much fun with them LOL! Thanks for stopping by-TaniaMonday, March 30, 2009

Friday Sketchers meets Penny Black Saturday#41
I made this card using the Friday Sketchers#44 sketch and the Penny Black Saturday #41 challenge which was doodling. I loved the sketch immediately and new I had to use it, but the Penny Black challenge was a real struggle so I decided to combine them. The only doodling I could come up with was the squiggly lines around the edges. I thought the happy Birthday looked a little plain so I added brown glitter to it. I'm really quite happy with how both challenges worked out together. Thanks for stopping by-TaniaSaturday, March 21, 2009

Used the Colour Create Challenge from last Sunday which was the colour combo of red and green and the bonus theme of things with wings. I really chose to do this as a way of stepping out of my colour comfort zone as I really don't like to work work with red and green in combination, even my Christmas themed cards are usually not red and green. I wish the glitter showed better in the picture as it really adds some more dimension to the card.
Card Recipe:
-SU Old olive Cardstock
-SU Old Olive & Real Red ink
-SU Stamps
-Glitter

Bo Bunny Paper card/ Penny Black Sketch

Created this card with some new Bo Bunny paper and the Penny Black Saturday Challenge sketch from this morning. I also had to try the flower that Claudia posted a tutorial for on her Blog. I switched out one of the flowers in the sketch for the sentiment which is stamped on a Stampin Up punched out shape.Sorry for the blurry spots, its cloudy and I couldn't get a good pic so I used the scanner and it doesn't like lumpy embellishments.
Thanks for looking, have a great weekend- Tania

Springy B-Day Card
I made this card for a very special friend of mine for her Birthday today. The flowered background paper is the new porcelain line from basic grey. I love how just looking at it makes spring seem just a little bit closer. Maybe this snow will go away.Only 4 more sleeps till the crazy cropper retreat yeh! I guess I should start packing!
